The God of the Nevertheless
March 27, 2011Whenever we face darkness, death or drudgery, we can be confident that God is the God of the Nevertheless. This gives us the courage to keep looking forward to the bright future he has for us, to persevere and keep going, knowing that He will turn any barrenness into fruitfulness.
Be inspired, encouraged and refreshed as you listen to Bryan Shutt whilst he takes us through Isaiah 9:1-7.
Thirsting for God
February 27, 2011The Lord is our Banner
February 20, 2011Joshua led the people of Israel into the promised land and into all the battles that helped them conquer it. But what can we learn from how God prepared him for this lead role and how he responded to that?
Today we look at the first mention of Joshua in the Bible, which is when the Israelites faced their first battle after coming out of Egypt, when we see how he obeyed God and Moses faithfully and bravely. He had to learn that the battle is only won through Jesus our banner. And secondly how he spent time in God's presence, climbing the mountain and staying in the Tent of Meeting. Both of those keys helped him become the man of faith God called him to be. Be inspired, have courage, walk with confidence. The battle has already been won!
A life transformed
February 13, 2011Jesus transformes the lives of people who are feeble, friendless, frustrated and feeling like a failure so that they can enjoy life to the full, belong to the family, experience the favour of God and are fashioned and formed to be all God wants us to be.
Be encouraged as you listen to Tony Ling as he shows us the contrast between the cripple at the pool and the person who changes lives. He can do it for you today too!
A vision of God changes everything
January 31, 2011The vision Isaiah had of Jesus on his throne had a huge impact. It changed his life forever. Have you been changed by what you have seen of God? Have you seen what you were like and what you are now? Be inspired to see great things as you listen.
Can you See it Yet?
January 23, 2011The bible gives us such wonderful descriptions and images of who we are as the church of God and the great future God has for us. But can you see it? Can you see it becoming reality amongst us. Be inspired as you listen, watch the film that we saw in the middle of this preaching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6l0tjOg-EY, and make room for God to move in new and amazing ways.
Journey into the New Season
January 16, 2011Be encouraged as Peter takes us through Isaiah 43 and the start of 44 and shows us how to embrace the new season. On our journey we find protection and security, and as we let go of the past we think differently, as God makes a way for us, providing water in a thirsty land, enabling us to be prophetic in declaring God's word and demonstrating God's power.
New Season of Victories and Breakthroughs
January 9, 2011At the start of this new year, there is a keen sense that we are starting a new phase as a church. A season to be refreshed and refocussed on what God has called us to be and to move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and progress. Get ready for this new season by listening and be inspired.
Sons and Royal Priests
December 5, 2010As sons of God we are part of our Father's business, not as servants, but as those who carry the Father's DNA, who work with Him (not just for Him) and who will inherit the Kingdom of God. We need to know who we are, that we are a special people, royal priests, an apostolic, missional people, sent to mediate between heaven and earth and that we are to operate in the same supernatural power as Jesus to show grace and mercy to this world. The future of the world depends on us.
Be inspired by Dave Emmett (from King's Church, Manchester).
